CBD: What Does “Full Spectrum” Mean?

Full-spectrum is a term that relates to the amount of cannabinoids and terpenes present within the cannabis (Hemp) extract. Full-spectrum products contain the full array of cannabinoids and terpenes present within the cannabis (Hemp) plant, including small amounts of THC. Hemp plants may naturally contain up to 0.3% THC.

  • “Full Spectrum” means you are not just getting CBD (Cannabidiol), but many other beneficial cannabinoids as well.

Research has found that the cannabis plant produces between 80 and 100 cannabinoids and about 300 non-cannabinoid chemicals.1

This is why at True Life Therapeutics, we only use Organic, USA-Grown, Full Spectrum Hemp Extract in our products like our Healing Body Salve and Full Spectrum Tinctures, and do not use CBD-isolate, where just the CBD (Cannabidiol) has been chemically isolated out of the plant.
